Carved Text - Watermarks You can use this tutorial with any version of PSP. Pictures shown are from PSP 9. You can download a trial version of PSP 9 at http://www.jasc.com What are we making? This!
1. Open a new image, 500x500, white. 2. Click the text tool. Enter any appropriate text. 3. Choose Effects - 3D Effects - Cutout. Say "yes" when it says it will merge your text down. That's what we want it to do.
Use the following settings:
3. Crop the picture appropriately. Consider changing the white background to something else, like marble (shown below). Add borders or buttonize for effect.
4. Save. You're done!
You can use this tutorial to make watermarks for your own tutorials, graphics & pictures. It fades into the background, but makes theft impossible. Protect your work! To use as a watermark, simply open the graphic you're working with, apply the settings above, merge with the graphic and save.
